The latest way to bring audiences 4K and High Dynamic Range live video.
Just when you thought streaming 1080 HD video was all the rage, ALT Systems technology partner AWS | Elemental has announced support for live streaming 4K and HDR content to YouTube. Customers can now use an AWS Elemental Live appliance and AWS Elemental MediaLive to blow audiences away with live-streamed 4K and HDR YouTube content.
YouTube supports HLS ingest for premium content that requires high-quality and high-resolution video via an HLS endpoint. YouTube supports MPEG2 transport stream muxed video with H.264 and HEVC codec, up to 60 fps with closed GOP. Audio must be AAC codec and muxed in MPEG2 transport stream.
